About

This document deals with a difficult, though important subject - our behavior: Why people do the things we do (or have done) and what it takes (or would take) to affect change - to have us to do something different. We believe there will be benefit to gain from this document’s use, and seek to encourage its consideration.

The structural essence of what’s presented can be captured by three terms:

  • A Treatise, deals formally and systematically with a subject.
  • A Synthesis, employs the combination of ideas to explain a system.
  • A Theory, proposes an explanation for known phenomena or relationships.

This, then, is a treatise that proposes a theory that is a synthesis of the sciences that deal with our behavior. While somewhat technical, its essence should be generally accessible.

Although copy-written, the complete text is presented here in “beta” version:

  • For individuals, it is available to review without obligation and the web page allows opportunities to read, download and comment. We encourage its consideration - feedback is requested but not required.
  • For researchers, a form is provided for authorization. The body of the text cites multiple points for further research, and we see benefit from examination at all levels.
  • For businesses, inquiry information is given for licensing. We believe the concepts that are presented offer many opportunities for increased effectiveness, both on personal and organizational levels. Applications are encouraged.

This treatise is about us. Only we can give a proper peer review. Comments are appreciated to: [email protected] and [email protected].
